At Vague Rose, we aim to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you need to return an item, please review the following policy, which is in line with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order if the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging, including all parts and components.
If the product is faulty or not as described upon arrival, please contact us immediately. In such cases, we will cover return shipping and offer a suitable resolution, which may include a repair, replacement, or full refund, in accordance with UK consumer law.
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return shipping costs to our international warehouse in China. Please be aware that international return postage can be costly and transit times may be longer than domestic shipping. We do not charge any restocking fees, but the cost of the return label is the sole responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend reviewing sizing information and product details carefully before placing your order to avoid unnecessary return costs.
HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
To start a return, please email support@shopvaguerose.co.uk with the following details:
• Your order number
• Reason for return (change of mind, incorrect size, faulty, etc.)
• Clear photos of any damage (if applicable)
• Your first and last name
• Your address and contact details
We will provide the correct return address and instructions. Returns must not be sent to the sender’s address, as this is not our return facility. Our returns processing centre is based in China, and return instructions will be provided upon approval of the request.
For change-of-mind returns, customers must arrange their own return shipping using a trackable method to ensure safe delivery. Return shipping costs vary depending on parcel size, weight, and courier used. As the return location is international, we advise checking postage rates prior to shipping.
CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
• Items must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original condition with all packaging and components.
• Hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., certain apparel or personal items) must be unworn and unused.
• We reserve the right to reject returns that show signs of misuse, wear, or intentional damage.
• Faulty or incorrect items will be assessed individually, and we will provide a solution in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Minor stitching irregularities and loose threads
Due to the nature of textile production and international fulfilment, minor imperfections such as small loose threads or slight stitching irregularities may occasionally occur. These do not affect the functionality or appearance of the product as intended and are not considered defects under this policy. Returns based solely on such characteristics will not be accepted.
CANCELLATIONS AND SHIPMENTS IN TRANSIT
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@shopvaguerose.co.uk. We will do our best to accommodate your request, provided the order has not yet entered fulfilment or been dispatched.
Orders may only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them. After this window, we cannot guarantee cancellation, as your parcel may already be processed or awaiting shipment.
If we are able to manually stop a late-stage order, a fixed cancellation fee of £3.95 will be deducted from your refund to cover processing and handling costs.
Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled. Once delivered, you may return them in accordance with our standard Returns and Refund Policy.
REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 working days of receiving your return. Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (usually 3–5 business days).
For change-of-mind returns, initial shipping costs and return postage are non-refundable. We do not deduct any restocking fees, so you will be refunded the full value of the item(s) returned.
For faulty or not-as-described items, we will cover return shipping and offer a full refund or replacement where appropriate.
